Our client is a leading distributor of water treatment plant to the construction, rail and utilities sectors and, due to continued expansion, Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer (Water Treatment Plant).
The Role
Reporting to the service manager you will be responsible for installations, service, repair and testing of water treatment plant at various locations throughout the UK.
* Installation and commissioning water treatment plant including settlement tanks, treatment tanks, dosing skids, monitoring equipment and more.
* Mechanical maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, pipe work, filters.
* Electrical fault finding and repair of control panels, wiring.
Candidate
You will be an experienced electrical and/or mechanical engineer, ideally with previous experience and knowledge of water treatment plant. You will have a recognised electrical and/or mechanical engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ3, 18th edition). Ideally you will have a valid CSCS card and UK driving licence. There will be travel throughout the north of England and occasionally throughout the UK with occasional nights away from home.
Hours Of Work
Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm + OT
