Position: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative
Location: Southam
Pay rate: £11.64 per hour
Contract type: Temp to Perm
Working Patterns:
- Position: 3 weekday shifts (12-hour shifts, 6am-6pm)
Responsibilities:
* Load and unload delivery vehicles and containers
* Provide exceptional customer service
* Review and verify orders before delivery
* Use handheld devices to confirm deliveries
* Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules
* Maintain cleanliness of the delivery van
* Conduct risk assessments and daily safety checks on the van
* Adhere to traffic and transportation regulations
* Comply with company policies and procedures
* Pick orders and prepare them for delivery
* Assist with general warehouse maintenance
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Full driving licence
* Good geographical knowledge
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Experience in manual handling
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to meet targets and work well in a team
* Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines
* Flexibility to work different shifts as required
* Willingness to undertake any necessary training
