Key Skills & Requirements
Professional qualification: CIMA / ACCA / ACA (qualified)
Advanced Excel capability, including financial modelling and large dataset analysis
Experience with group consolidations (highly desirable)
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
Ability to lead, coach, and develop a finance team
Robust understanding of financial controls, reporting, and compliance
Commercial awareness and ability to partner with operational teams
Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex financial data
Adaptability within a fast‑paced, change‑driven environment
Willingness to travel to regional sites occasionally

The finance department is a highly data‑rich and evolving environment, and due to ongoing business expansion, the team has identified the need for a talented Financial Controller.
This role plays a crucial part in strengthening financial controls, ensuring process quality, and enabling accurate reporting and analysis that will drive performance, enterprise value, and future investment. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will lead and develop the finance team, ensuring they perform at their highest level.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee month‑end close and prepare group financial statements and reporting
Manage balance sheet reconciliations and inter‑company transactions
Support budgeting and forecasting, including data analytics and reporting
Approve expenditure transactions and perform core controlling activities
Operationally manage cashflow, including long‑term forecasting
Analyse business performance across cost centres
Produce KPI reporting and identify actions for improvement
Support the annual audit process and statutory accounts preparation
Contribute to projects and provide business partnering to deliver insights and solutions
Support active business growth initiatives
Travel to regional locations as required
