Inverness Resettlement Support Worker

Key Responsibilities
The role of Support Worker with The Salvation Army is crucial in achieving successful outcomes for our vulnerable clients. As a motivated and dynamic Support Worker, you will develop and deliver a high-quality support programme that promotes client’s choice and control. You will address clients' support needs, enable positive life changes, and empower clients with the skills to sustain a tenancy independently in the community.
Candidate Requirements
* A basic knowledge of IT packages including Microsoft Office.
* Understanding of the support needs faced by homeless and vulnerable clients.
* Knowledge of benefits systems, including Universal Credit and Housing Benefit.
* A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car, as this role involves travel and support delivery throughout the Inner Moray Firth area.
* Willingness to work towards a Level 3 SVQ qualification in Health and Social Care.
* Ability to work in a busy environment, be solution-focused, demonstrate good time management, and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
