About the role
Join our Regional Civils division as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and contribute to the commercial success of major infrastructure projects, including an 8km dual carriageway in Lincolnshire. What you'll be doing
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor within Balfour Beatty, you will:
* Ensure all duties comply with company HSE procedures.
* Develop and manage commercial strategy to deliver project margins.
* Maintain accurate contract cost reporting and forecasts.
* Monitor projected costs, cash flow, and valuations.
* Manage contract variations, subcontracts, and tender processes.
* Support claims, insurance, and project reviews.
* Use BIM where applicable for progress monitoring and commercial reporting.
* Uphold company values and maintain a focus on Zero Harm.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with the following:
* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).
* Membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB (or working towards).
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Leadership and achievement-focused mindset.
* Business and customer awareness.
