Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Hexham area of Northumberland
Type: Small Animal
Location : Hexham area of Northumberland
Practice : They are an award-winning and friendly, independent practice who are committed to caring for patients, their owners, and their staff.
Facilities : They pride themselves on their exceptional, high-quality, modern medicine and surgery. They have three branches in and around the Tyne Valley.
Role : They are looking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team - The role is based at their Hexham branch but holiday and sickness cover will be required at two other sites
* Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8.00 am - 6.30 pm with 1/2 unpaid for lunch
* Regular weekday off.
* Out of hours - one, regular night on-call per week (from 6.30 pm to 8.00 am the following day) plus one weekend in six on-call (Friday 6.30 pm - Monday 8.00 am). They have a remuneration package in place for RVNs working out-of-hours
* Saturday surgery 9.00 am -1.00 pm one weekend in six. The same weekend as on-call.
Skills/Exp: You will be an experienced RVN who is fully registered with the RCVS. To act as a clinical coach for student nurses if applicable.
Salary : The salary is dependent on experience.30 - 40 hour week (3-4 days to include a Tuesday and Friday).On-call retainer of £600 per annum and clinical coach payment of £750 per annum.

* Holiday allowance is 4 weeks (20 days) plus bank holidays (pro rata).One extra day is given for each year of service up to a maximum of 5 days for 5 years of service.
* CPD allowance of £300 per annum. CPD is encouraged and supported.CPD in excess of £300 per annum may be subject to signing a training contract.
