4. Teaching Art & Design across KS3 & KS4
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic andmitted Art and Design Teacher. This is a full-time job to start after the Easter break to provide long-term cover until the end of the academic year. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Job Description
5. Delivering engaging and creative Art and Design lessons.
6. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
7. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
8. Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
Requirements
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's wee to apply.
10. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
11. Recent experience teaching Art, DT, Textiles and/or Food at secondary school level.
12. Strong behaviour/classroom management.
13. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
