Position Summary
Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader
Location: Coventry
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7-3:30pm (2:30 finish on Fridays)
Duration: Permanent
Responsibilities
* Leading the maintenance team across the shift pattern to achieve desired uptime and quality requirements.
* Plan and schedule Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) works and drive the annual Planned Maintenance (PM) plan.
* Promote continuous improvement in overall plant operations by reducing downtime wherever possible.
* Train, advise and mentor maintenance team members as appropriate, where relevant training/standards in own performance have been achieved.
Qualifications
* Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – Mechanical preferred.
* Demonstrable leadership behaviors and qualities; we can consider a technician or engineer looking to take a step up.
* Previous experience of maintenance of a wide range of machinery.
* Ability to think critically, utilizing data in complex decision-making scenarios.
