EUNA energy (EEN) provides services from policy advice and programme design through to supporting owners, contractors and lenders in the financing, design, delivery, operation and decommissioning of energy projects.
In addition to engineering and technology-based skills, our team includes power specialists in economics, finance, environment and social sciences. Our three core divisions are focused on nuclear (PPN),energy networks(ETO) and power generation (ETR), and take a leading role in many of the Group's subsector and cross-cutting practices.
An apprenticeship is a paid job where you will learn and gain valuable on the job experience, whilst also completing classroom-based learning with a college, university or training provider, which leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship you will gain a BSc or BEng civil engineering degree which is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (TheInstitution of Civil Engineers, theInstitution of Structural Engineers, theChartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, and theInstitute of Highway Engineers ).
The successful candidate will possess the following level of experience:
Desire to work within the civil and structural engineering sectors.
Willingness to undertake extracurricular learning.
Enjoy working within a team environment.
Enthusiasm to learn new skills and embrace new technologies and software.
Able to effectively manage workload in a busy and dynamic environment.
Strong interest in 3D design, modelling and creating immersive models.
High attention to detail.
Learning pathways include, but not limited to:
Developing proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
Developing proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
Developing proficiency in Autodesk BIM360.
Learning and applying engineering standards e.g. EN Eurocodes.
Learning and applying industry and client information standards e.g. ISO 19650.
Learning and applying quality assurance (QA) processes.
Experience in any of these areas is beneficial but candidates with a keen eye for detail, an aptitude for learning 3D software packages and interests in data management are equally important.
