About the Financial Accountant Job
As a Financial Accountant reporting into the Group Financial Controller, youll play a central role in delivering accurate, compliant, and insightful financial reporting for the Group. Sitting within a newly structured and evolving, growing team, this role offers the chance to get involved in much more than just the numbers.
Youll support month-end close, balance sheet integrity, fixed assets, VAT, audit prep, treasury reporting, and group consolidation. Youll also work closely with FP&A and get stuck into process improvement and finance transformation projects, including systems upgrades and risk management.
Theres real opportunity to grow within this Financial Accountant Job. The business is actively building out its finance team, with a view to this role stepping up into a Managerial position over time.
The Requirements
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar), with industry experience ideally from a Manufacturing environment, but not essential.
Experience in a fast-paced, complex business environment with strong Excel and ERP skills
High attention to detail, with a proactive and analytical mindset
Comfortable working independently but enjoys being part of a high-performing team
Salary, Benefits & Culture
Salary is between £38,000 and £45,000 depending on experience with full study support for relevant qualifications. Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home), 25 days holiday + bank holidays and genuine progression pathway into a future management role.
