Procurement Specialist Job Ref No: WS/PS/02/26 Key Responsibilities: Managing procurement of packaging materials and ingredients in line with forecasted demand; Monitor high-value and critical materials closely to minimise risk of shortages or excess stock; Ensure data accuracy across all systems, including stock levels, forecasts and supplier information; Raise purchase orders, track deliveries and manage supplier lead times; Assess forecasts in detail to understand true demand requirements; Work closely with internal stakeholders to align demand planning with production needs. The Person: A minimum of three years experience in procurement, supply planning or demand planning; Strong Microsoft Excel skills to include data analysis, formulas, forecasting and reporting; Strong communication skills and experience of building and maintaining relationships with suppliers; Experience sourcing raw materials, packaging or production supplies. Preference will be given to candidates with: Experience of using an ERP system; Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, or related field; A working knowledge of packaging materials, industry standards and packaging compliance; Ability to work with forecasts and translate data into practical purchasing actions.
