Our client, a well-established and growing M&E Contractor, is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Contracts Manager to join their team. This key role is responsible for managing and delivering FM service contracts across a portfolio of technically complex buildings following project handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Facilities Management contracts covering mechanical, electrical, and associated building services
* Oversee hard FM service delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, compliantly, and in line with contractual KPIs
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
* Manage contract mobilisation, variations, renewals, and performance reviews
* Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost control across FM contracts
* Coordinate with project delivery and engineering teams to ensure smooth transition from construction to FM
* Carry out site audits, inspections, and compliance checks
* Ensure statutory compliance, health & safety, and SLA adherence across all contracts
* Support tendering, procurement, and appointment of FM supply chain partners
Requirements
* Proven experience in Facilities Management contract management, ideally within an M&E contracting environment
* Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
* Experience managing hard FM services and maintenance contracts
* Good knowledge of statutory compliance, H&S legislation, and industry standards
* Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and contract performance
* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* Relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable)
