Role overview
As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:
* Be part of a close‑knit team delivering matron‑led care in a consultant‑led service
* Act as the first point of contact, working with professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to surgery
* Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure high‑quality patient care
* Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
* Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
* Build experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
* Collaborate with practitioners in other areas, recognizing that continuity of patient care is key
