Care Home Administrator
Salary: £12.22 to £12.78 per hour (dependent on qualifications)
Hours: 22 hours per week - Monday to Friday

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Care Home Administrator to join our dedicated team. This vital role supports the smooth running of our care home and ensures that both residents and staff receive the highest standard of administrative support.
Essential Qualification
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration is desirable but not essential.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Prepare and administer admission, discharge, and charging information, ensuring care charges are accurately invoiced and paid
* Maintain accurate resident records and documentation
* Assist and support the Home Manager with the recruitment process
* Manage and maintain a filing system for all staff records, including a training database
* Provide secretarial support to the Home Management Team, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and minute-taking
* Manage email inboxes, distributing and responding to messages appropriately
* Administer all finance systems including sales and purchase ledger, petty cash, banking, and provide financial data to assist in budget reporting
* Be responsible for the procurement and management of a reliable supply chain for stationery and other essential items

* Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a care or healthcare setting
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A professional, compassionate, and discreet approach to work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
