Overview
12 Hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Fixed term until 13 April 2026. Linlithgow Primary School is non-denominational and provides for stages from nursery to Primary 7. The school aims to care for each child and strives to create an environment in which they feel safe, happy, confident and valued as an individual.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to providing a safe, secure and inclusive school environment that builds the confidence of young people and enhances their ability to learn.
* Work on interventions with pupils on literacy, numeracy and health & wellbeing to raise attainment.
Qualifications and requirements
* Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC); you will have six months from the date of commencement to become registered. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account.
* This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment.
