6. Chair and lead regional risk management meetings; represent Global Utilities in cross‑functional and regional forums, presenting data-driven recommendations on energy and carbon risk.
7. Develop and implement renewable electricity procurement strategies for assigned regions, leveraging market data and procurement platforms to optimise PPA, virtual PPA and REC approaches.

9. Manage relationships with utilities and carbon market intelligence suppliers and technology vendors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, actionable market data and analytics.
10. Ensure integrity of carbon credit procurement: coordinate due diligence, validation and verification, portfolio risk management and ensure alignment with recognised standards (e.g., Verra, Gold Standard etc.) and internal retirement requirements.

Additional responsibilities

11. Ensure regional risk policies and procurement governance are implemented, communicated and periodically updated; maintain digital records and audit trails for energy and carbon transactions. Lead internal audit response for Renewable Energy programmes in line with established policies and timelines.
