We are a friendly, family-run transport company based in County Durham looking for a reliable and proactive Transport Planner to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys problem-solving, staying organised, and keeping operations running smoothly.
🔹 What You’ll Do
* Handle incoming calls and emails professionally
* Support daily transport planning and scheduling
* Manage contracts and maintain accurate records
* Assist with resolving operational issues as they arise
* Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
🔹 What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in an administrative role (essential)
* Transport planning experience (desirable but not essential — training can be provided)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to multitask and think on your feet
