Job Role
We are seeking registered and experienced social workers to join our Adult Social Care team. Vacancies are available in our Adult Social Care Case Management Service, where we work with adults with various care and support needs, including younger adults with physical disabilities and older adults. This role is varied and dynamic within a fast-paced, vibrant team of social workers and community case workers. Join us in our commitment to making the principles of The Care Act 2014 a reality for Coventry residents.
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK; we are not offering sponsorship for this role. The position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and appointment is conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.
Qualifications and Experience
* Recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW)
* Social Work England registration
* Knowledge of social work practice and legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
* Understanding of personalisation, strength-based practice, and assessment and analysis skills
* Commitment to achieving the best for Coventry residents
