W Talent are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established manufacturing business located in Belper, Derbyshire who are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team within a high-tech, fast-paced production environment. This role offers a competitive salary between 40,000 and 46,500 and operates on a Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern, covering mornings, afternoons, and nights.
Role Overview
As a key member of the maintenance team, you will provide multi-skilled engineering support across the facility. You'll work on a wide range of machinery from automated presses to robotic systems ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine and preventive maintenance in accordance with the site plan.
* Respond swiftly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.
* Conduct fault diagnosis and repair across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
* Accurately document maintenance activities for audit and compliance purposes.
* Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving projects.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with current health and safety legislation.
Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role is essential.
* Proven track record in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.
* Competent with PLC systems and ideally familiar with robotic equipment.
* Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive and flexible approach.
* Willingness to work across rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, nights).
