About the role
This is a key role within Academic Services, reporting to the Assistant Academic Registrar and working closely with the Academic Registrar and members of the Academic Services directorate to ensure that planning processes are delivered and outcomes progressed, that projects and significant pieces of development work are managed and completed, and that annual reports and other formal documents submitted to university committees are of a consistently high standard.
The post holder will be expected to work autonomously and with authority, to foster and maintain excellent working relationships with staff at all levels across the University, to understand and contribute to the development of strategic priorities, and to identify practical solutions to challenging issues.
Ideal candidate
You will:
1. have a good understanding of the issues and context within which universities operate.
2. have experience of developing and managing effective relationships with stakeholders, of managing significant projects.
3. have experience of identifying and delivering solutions to complex logistical and operational problems.
4. have excellent writing skills and you will be able to prioritise across a broad range of activities and projects.
