Shift Pattern: 16-24 Hour shifts (including Sleep-in), on a one on two off or two on four off basis.
A typical day for a Senior Support Worker might include:
Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager when required
Supporting the development of Residential Care Workers through mandatory training and mentoring
Communicating with the team about care plans and their implementation
Maintaining accurate records in logs, sheets, and files for monitoring and evaluation
Participating in team and staff meetings
Providing direct support and care to young people
Encouraging engagement in education and activities
Traveling with young people to and from school or college
Preparing meals and maintaining the home environment (cleaning, laundry, etc.)
Organising and facilitating social activities

Requirements:
Full UK driving license
Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
12 months senior experience in a Residential setting is highly desirable, but applications from those starting their journey are encouraged
DBS and reference checks will be conducted in line with government regulations and safer recruitment practices
