The Fishmonger Manager will oversee the fish and seafood department, ensuring premium quality products, exceptional customer service, and smooth daily operations. This role offers the chance to lead a team, showcase your expertise, and contribute to the success of a standout new retail venture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise the fish and seafood department, including staffing.
2. Maintain the highest standards in the preparation, display, and presentation.
3. Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service
4. Assist in product selection and cooking advice.
5. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of fresh, high-quality products.
6. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
7. Create appealing displays that highlight the quality and freshness of products.
8. Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and product quality.
9. Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
10. Support cost control and pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
