Bank Catering Assistant – Winfield Hospital - Bank Hours
We are currently looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our Bank.
You will be part of a team responsible for the preparation and delivery of food and beverage services to patients. As a Catering Assistant, your duties will include serving all food and drinks to patients on the wards, managing dietary requirements, washing cutlery, replenishing hot drinks machines, and explaining daily menus across all meals.
You will work within a team of Catering Assistants committed to maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and high standards throughout the hospital in line with our policies.
On a Bank contract, we offer shifts over seven days with the following patterns: 7:00 am - 1:30 pm, 1:30 pm - 7:00 pm, or 8:00 am - 2:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Who we're looking for
Ideally, you will be an experienced Catering Assistant from a healthcare or similar industry with customer-facing experience. You should be able to work independently, have a positive and flexible approach to customer service, and possess strong communication skills.
What is a Bank contract:
A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. You work on an ad-hoc basis, filling available shifts. This contract suits individuals seeking flexibility and a better work-life balance, allowing you to choose shifts that fit your availability. It also provides an opportunity to earn additional income alongside other work. Bank staff are essential in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
