A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established, multi-site organisation based in Anglesey. This role offers a blend of remote and office-based work, and is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive and forward-thinking finance team.
About the RoleAs a Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting operational teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare monthly management accounts down to division and branch level within tight deadlines
2. Allocate costs across multiple divisions and branches to ensure accurate cost centre reporting
3. Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations
4. Process monthly journals including prepayments, accruals, stock and margin
5. Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure financial data is accurate andplete
6. Maintain accurate accounts records and spreadsheets
7. Respond to financial queries from across the business
8. Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior year performance, providing regular updates to management
9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
10. Take ownership of overhead costs, including monthly reviews with budget holders
11. Support other finance-related duties as required

13. Experience in a large, multi-site organisation
14. Part-qualified or QBE
