An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our Community Hospital Team to provide skilled, clinical, and effective care.
The post holder will support trained nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering the highest standard of patient-focused care.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with the dementia development team to utilize knowledge and skills to enable staff across the hospital to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to people with dementia, and provide support to their carers and families.
Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person Specification
Qualifications and/or Knowledge (Essential):
* Good general education
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent
* Positive attitude towards dementia care
* Awareness of initiatives like 'This is Me', Tip Tree Toolkit, etc.
Desirable:
* NVQ Level 4
Experience (Essential):
* Working with people with dementia in a clinical setting
Desirable:
* Experience supporting elderly patients and their families
Skills (Essential):
* Autonomous and team working abilities
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work in stressful environments
Desirable:
* Basic IT skills
* Ability to teach staff, patients, and carers
Personal qualities (Essential):
* Good time management
* Flexible, diligent, reliable
* Motivated to support dementia skill development
