My client is a unique data analytics company that provide an extensive range of genomic and bioinformatic data analysis services to Pharma, CROs and academia for drug discovery & development and applied research. They have extensive expertise in therapeutic areas such as immunology, inflammation, oncology and infectious diseases.
The business is in a period of sustained and rapid growth and are looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join our sales team. The incumbent be given responsibility for a geographical territory and would be tasked with developing & maintaining new relationships and exploring avenues for new business.
The candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences discipline with 2+ years’ experience in the life sciences industry. Experience in CRO and consultative sales is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Generate leads for probable sales
* Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships
* Write formal proposals
* Develop and negotiate contracts
* Be involved in the development of strategy to achieve sales targets
* Support marketing activities, including trade/ scientific shows, mailings, etc.
The role will require travel to the US.
