We are recruiting a Male Support Worker to join a dedicated 1:1 support package in Hailsham. This is a highly rewarding role supporting an individual with an acquired brain injury and epilepsy, focusing on building a consistent, positive, and structured daily routine in the community and at home. This Support Worker role is ideal for someone patient, caring, and committed to making a meaningful difference in someone’s life. You will also be responsible for safely transporting the individual to appointments and activities, so a full UK driving licence is essential. Location: Hailsham Salary: £14.15 per hour (reviewed annually) Hours: 27 hours per week Contract: Permanent, part-time Requirement: Full UK driving licence (essential) Gender requirement: Male (Genuine Occupational Requirement under Equality Act 2010) About the Role You will be supporting one individual to live a fulfilling and active life, promoting independence, confidence, and enjoyment in everyday activities. This is a calm, structured role where you will be working closely with the individual to support routines, community access, and meaningful engagement.
