Vision For Eduction are recruiting for welcoming primary schools in the Quedgeley, looking for an Educational Support Officer to join their team. This Educational Support Officer role involves supporting pupils who need additional help with learning, behaviour, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
Working closely with teachers and SEND staff, you'll support children with a range of needs including SEND, SEMH, autism, and ADHD, helping them engage positively in school life.
What you'll be doing as an Educational Support Officer:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
• Encouraging confidence, resilience, and independence
• Helping pupils access learning and classroom activities
• Working closely with teachers and support staff
What we're looking for:
• Patient, positive, and reliable approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience in education, care, youth work, coaching, or mentoring is desirable
• Confidence supporting children with additional needs
• Commitment to pupil wellbeing and safeguarding
Role Details:
• Full-time or part-time opportunities
