Position Summary: $3,000 sign‑on bonus
The Licensed Therapist conducts individual and family assessments, develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans as part of an inter‑disciplinary team, consults with psychiatrists, medical doctors, or other specialists concerning treatment plan and amends plan as necessary, develops and facilitates prescribed clinical services, documents interventions along with patient responses and progress, and provides referrals to outside resources. Supports the clinical department’s ongoing initiatives, including monitoring, quality improvement projects, patient outcome processes and positive onboarding of department personnel. Maintains service delivery to state licensing and JCAHO accreditation standards.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
* Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient
* Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and document any changes in a patient’s appearance, behavior, or ability to work toward treatment plan goals
* Communicate changes in patient’s condition to the charge nurse

Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in direct mental health service provision (acute inpatient psychiatric health care preferred), with direct experience in case management, family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Combination of education, licensure and experience and/or student internship hours may be considered.
Preferred: Possess current and active state licensure as a LPC‑A, LPC, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW.
Additional Requirements: Timely renewal of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for healthcare professional’s certification, annual professional skills verification, and HWC (Handle with Care) behavioral management certification.
