About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will possess technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, along with some IT skills. Communicative and considerate interaction with residents and co-workers is essential.
The role involves ensuring residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include carrying out audits, maintaining records, and performing repairs and installations such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating. Kindness and respect are fundamental to your approach.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the procedures for reporting concerns. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
