Temporary Senior Administrator
Your new companyAn establishedcharity based in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced and highly organisedSenior Administrator to join their team. This organisation is looking forsomeone who can bring strong administrative expertise to a busy and rewardingenvironment. This is a temporary opportunity with potential for extension, andan immediate start is preferred.
Your new roleAs a Senior Administrator, you will play a key rolein ensuring the smooth and effective running of administrative functions acrossthe organisation. Working closely with senior staff and wider teams, you willprovide high-level support, streamline processes, and helpmaintain excellent service delivery in a fast-paced, purpose-ledsetting.Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing,reviewing and issuing high-quality correspondence, reports and documentationwith accuracy and attention to detail
* Acting as a keypoint of contact for internal and external enquiries, handling queriesprofessionally and sensitively in line with the organisation’s values
* Supportingsenior leaders and teams with meeting coordination, including scheduling,agenda preparation, minute-taking and tracking follow-upactions
* Maintaining andimproving records, databases and filing systems, ensuring compliance and easyaccess to information
* Managing sharedinboxes and coordinating workloads, prioritising tasks effectively to meetdeadlines and service expectations
* Identifyingopportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to greateroperational efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
* Provenexperience in a senior or advanced administrative role, ideally within thecharity, public sector, or a similarly fast-paced environment
* Strongorganisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competingpriorities
* Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional andempathetic approach
* High level ofaccuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling documentation anddata
* Confidence usingMicrosoft Office and database systems, with the ability to quickly learn newtools and processes
* A proactive mindsetand the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative teamenvironment
