An outstanding secondary school is seeking a passionate and engaging Science Teacher with a specialism in Biology to join their brilliant team from September 2025. This is a long-term role with potential for a permanent appointment for the right candidate. Full-time preferred, but part-time applicants will also be considered.

Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver inspiring, high-quality lessons in Biology to KS3 and KS4 students.
* Differentiate content to meet a wide range of student abilities.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Support the wider Science Department with curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities.
* Promote curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science in all learners.
* Contribute to school life through clubs, interventions, or wider responsibilities.
Requirements
* QTS is desirable but not essential – we welcome applications from experienced instructors and unqualified teachers with relevant expertise.
* Experience teaching Biology at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management.
* A passion for science and education, and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
* DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo a new check.
* Work in a forward-thinking, supportive science department.
