Senior SI Engineer (Penketh)
BGEN Ltd (Warrington, England, United Kingdom) is looking for a Senior SI Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. The role involves providing essential infrastructure services across various industries in a safety‑first, client‑centric environment.
What you will be doing
You will be involved in every stage of a control project, from design through development, testing, and commissioning.
You will be supported with clear technical documentation that keeps everything simple and transparent.
You will be creating PLC and HMI software that makes systems intuitive and reliable, and you will be developing SCADA solutions that give powerful tools for monitoring and control.
You will be adding value by reverse engineering existing systems to produce accurate design documentation.
You will be mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping the whole team grow together with confidence and care.
What you'll bring
* Experience with Siemens (and ideally Rockwell) hardware and software
* Background in the Water and Wastewater treatment sector
* Proven track record delivering complex control projects
* Skill in interpreting client standards and user requirements
* Ability to reverse engineer existing control software with care
* Strong communication plus effective time and project management
* Commercial awareness to add real value
* Full UK driving licence for flexible travel
