Overview
Our client, a reputable childcare provider in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-time Nursery Assistant to join their vibrant team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the nursery's daily operations and providing exceptional care to children aged 0-5 years.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children by maintaining a clean and secure environment
* Providing personal care to children, including nappy changing, toileting, and meal times
* Observing and assessing children's development, maintaining accurate records, and sharing information with parents and colleagues
* Building positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
* Adhering to the nursery\'s policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines
Qualifications and Experience
* A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
* Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring, patient, and friendly demeanour
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* A valid DBS check and a commitment to safeguarding children
