Non-Ferrous Metals Export Coordinator — UK to India Kingfisher Telecom | United Kingdom | Full-Time
About Us
Kingfisher Telecom is a UK-India telecoms and infrastructure business with established operations across both countries. As part of our expanding metals recovery division — driven by copper reclamation from network decommissioning and infrastructure upgrades — we are building a direct UK-to-India copper export corridor and need an experienced export operator to own the logistics end of that pipeline.
The Role
You understand how containerised scrap metal moves from the UK to Asia. You know the ports, the freight forwarders, the documentation, and the customs requirements on both ends. You have done this before and can hit the ground running.
This is an operational role. You will take material that has been sourced and consolidated in the UK and get it into containers, documented correctly, and delivered to our facility in India efficiently and compliantly.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing containerised copper and non-ferrous metal exports from the UK to India
* Coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and port operators
* Handling all export documentation — bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, export declarations
* Managing UK customs compliance including HMRC export controls on scrap metal
* Coordinating with our India-side team on import clearance, bonded warehouse entry, and delivery
* Building relationships with reliable freight forwarders on the UK-India lane
* Tracking shipments end to end and resolving any delays or compliance issues
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience managing containerised scrap metal or commodity exports from the UK
* Strong knowledge of UK export documentation and HMRC customs requirements
* Experience with the India import lane — ICD, bonded warehousing, or port clearance a strong advantage
* Relationships with freight forwarders handling UK-Asia container traffic
* Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
* Comfortable working directly with senior leadership in a fast-moving operation
What We Offer
* £55,000 - £70,000 base salary depending on experience
* Performance bonus linked to shipment volume and efficiency
* Direct line to senior leadership — you will shape how this operation is built
* Real growth opportunity as we scale the corridor from pilot containers to consistent monthly volume
* UK and India travel as the operation grows
