Exams Manager
* Location: Stroud
* Reporting to: Director of Exams
* Salary: up to £35k
* Type: Full-time
Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Stroud.
Job Purpose
* Oversee the exams process, ensuring high standards and responsiveness across the organization.
* Develop and implement quality assurance and evaluation procedures for examinations.
* Drive improvements to make exam services more efficient and impactful.
Main Duties
* Manage the administration and compliance of exams with regulatory requirements.
* Oversee exam entries, registrations, and the provision of a suitable exam environment.
* Lead and support a team of exam staff, ensuring effective communication and training.
* Ensure accurate and timely data handling for registrations, results, and audits.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance and enhance processes.
* Assist senior management with planning, reporting, and operational improvements.
Requirements
* Proven experience within exams in an educational setting
* Experience within strict examination board constraints.
* Experience of working with highly confidential data
* Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team.
* Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics.
* Great administration skills
