Live Life Aberdeenshire is looking for someone with excellent customer service skills to join our libraries and cultural team.
As part of the libraries team, you will assist in providing library services to the Huntly community. You should have excellent communication skills, good digital skills, and the ability to work with all age groups. The role involves helping library users with enquiries, supporting literacy, organizing activities, and promoting library use. A flexible approach and enthusiasm for libraries and culture are essential.
There is a responsibility to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organization.
Working pattern: Wednesday to Saturday every week. Specific hours: Wed (10am-6pm), Thu (1-6pm), Fri (10am-2pm), Sat (10am-1pm) + 3 hours to be scheduled.

Requirements
This is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. The outcome of these checks must be satisfactory for employment to commence.
