Key Responsibilities of the EAL Support Teacher:
* Provide tailored support to EAL students across various age groups and key stages.
* Develop and deliver engaging lessons and interventions to improve English language proficiency.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and ensure access to the curriculum.
* Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet individual learning needs.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that celebrates linguistic and cultural diversity.
Requirements for the EAL Support Teacher role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with EAL students in educational settings.
* Strong understanding of language acquisition and effective support strategies.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
