Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Temp to Perm)
Location: Over, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 8:30am–5pm (37.5 hrs/week)
Salary: £24,500 – £27,000

Role Overview
Join our growing warehouse team in a hands‑on, fast‑paced role focused on logistics and fulfilment. You’ll play a key part in receiving, storing, assembling, picking, and packing products, with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and thrives in a well‑organised warehouse environment.
Please note: Due to the rural location of the warehouse, having your own transport (e.g. car) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Goods In/Out: Accurately receive, label, store, pick, pack, and ship items.
* Order Fulfilment: Assemble and prepare customer orders efficiently and with a high level of care.
* Stock Control: Carry out regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
* Process Improvement: Support continuous improvements to warehouse processes and layout.
* Compliance: Adhere to Health & Safety and ISO standards at all times.
* Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
* Systems & Equipment: Use warehouse management systems and equipment (forklifts/order pickers where trained).
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements
Essential
* Previous warehouse experience (picking, packing, stock handling)
* Good physical fitness and a strong work ethic
* Own transport due to location (car or similar)
Desirable
* Forklift and/or Order Picker licence
* GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
* Experience with SAP Business One, Excel, Outlook
* Understanding of risk assessments and warehouse safety standards
