ROLE: Mobile Water Treatment Service Engineer
LOCATION: Coventry

We're looking for a Mobile Water Treatment Service Engineer who will deliver expert servicing, commissioning, and maintenance of water treatment equipment for commercial and industrial clients.
Role Responsibilities
1. Service and commission a wide range of water treatment equipment including ClO₂, Cl₂, Genox dosing plants, water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and boiler/cooling tower dosing units.
2. Travel to client sites to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and provide technical support, ensuring smooth system operation.
3. Operate, monitor, and adjust water treatment systems to meet contractual requirements for volume, quality, and performance.
4. Troubleshoot system issues in coordination with line managers and technical support teams.
5. Perform preventative maintenance, manage consumables, and ensure the ongoing reliability of all equipment.
6. Maintain strong customer relationships with plant operatives, field service engineers, and client stakeholders.
7. Keep accurate daily records, including test results, maintenance logs, and activity reports.
8. Respond quickly to equipment failures, leaks, and urgent water‑related issues to minimise disruption.
9. Ensure all activities comply with relevant water supply, health & safety, and regulatory standards.
10. Travel flexibly, with potential visits to sites across the UK and internationally.
11. Support ad‑hoc duties within the MES Engineering team as required.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
12. Experience servicing or maintaining water treatment systems or similar technical equipment.
13. Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical processes related to water treatment (e.g., dosing, RO, softeners, chemical systems).
14. Ability to interpret system performance data, diagnose issues, and implement technical solutions.
