We are looking for an experienced Group Operations Chef, reporting directly to the Managing Director, to lead kitchen operations across our estate. Working alongside the Culinary Development Chef, who creates menus and food specifications, you will take ownership of training, implementation and day-to-day delivery. You will support and guide Head Chefs, drive team performance, and ensure food safety, consistency and operational standards are always met. A key part of the role is identifying talent, developing people and helping the next generation of chefs progress their careers. What Your Role will involve: Provide strong operational leadership across all kitchens, supporting Head Chefs and driving high performance standards. Deliver and monitor KPIs across food quality, cost control, hygiene and customer satisfaction. Lead the implementation of approved menus, ensuring consistency, profitability and food safety compliance across the estate. Oversee food safety, health & safety and hygiene standards, including audits and EHO management. Manage kitchen recruitment, training, budgets and systems to build capability and control food and labour costs. As the ideal Group Operations Chef you must have: Proven experience in a senior multi-site kitchen leadership role within a high-volume hospitality environment. Strong working knowledge of food safety, hygiene legislation and health & safety compliance across multiple kitchens. Demonstrated success in implementing menus and food specifications consistently, maintaining quality and presentation standards. Experience leading, developing and holding Head Chefs and kitchen teams accountable, including recruitment and succession planning. Strong commercial acumen, with proven ability in food cost control, labour management, budget oversight and effective use of kitchen systems.
