About ASEND
ASEND is the only dedicated SEND recruitment agency founded and led by specialist SEND teachers and consultants. We are passionate about the children and young people we support, and we ensure that our teachers, therapists, psychologists, support staff, and others are well trained and supported.
Training and Support
We provide regular training for our staff and clients, including Team Teach, autism awareness, emotional regulation, safeguarding, managing challenging behaviour, and ADHD awareness. Our team is available at any time to offer advice and support, as we understand schools and SEND well.
Service Requests and Regions
Requests for services are usually fulfilled within 2 weeks, with longer notice providing more options. Currently, most work is in London, the South East, and North West England, but we aim to serve wherever needed.
Benefits for Professionals
As professionals run by SEND experts, we offer unparalleled advice, regular training sessions, and strategies tailored to individual children’s needs. Staff wellbeing is important to us, and we organize social gatherings for shared experiences.
Contracts and Discounts
We offer discounts on packages and long-term contracts, which enable us to provide competitive prices and personalized services.
Inclusivity and Support
We are an equal opportunities employer, supporting team members with disabilities and fostering professional development. We support learners over 18, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans up to age 25.
Working with Parents and Experts
We work with schools and Local Authorities for children in the state system and may charge for services for fee-paying schools or international clients. We also provide expert reports and serve as witnesses at SEND tribunals and review panels.
Staff Qualifications and Expertise
Our staff, from teaching assistants to clinical psychologists, are highly qualified and experts in their fields. We can also support children with complex needs, including physical disabilities like cerebral palsy, through specialist teachers and support.
