Youth Worker in Schools

The Job…
Working in schools across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Stoke on Trent, and Newcastle under Lyme, your role will be a mix of teaching classroom assistant and pastoral youth support worker.
Your role will involve supporting children who have experienced trauma and those with mental health and emotional needs. You will assist in managing their behaviours, helping them regulate their emotions, and engaging with the school day.
We are looking for someone who is emotionally resilient, capable of handling various challenges, driven, determined, and passionate about helping children and young people thrive in their future.
You’ll Be…
* Experienced working with young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs
* Capable of holding student attention with excellent communication skills
* Committed to promoting happiness, self-reliance, and encouraging positive interactions
