• Prepare accurate job sheets, certificates (e.g., minor works certificates, EICRs as applicable), and handover documentation.

• Manage small projects from start to finish, including material selection, scheduling, and coordination with site teams and customers.

• Liaise with customers and colleagues to provide regular progress updates and excellent customer service.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; ensure housekeeping and tool maintenance.

• Keep vans/tools equipment in good condition; report any defects and ensure compliance with company asset policies.

• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Skills and competencies

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.

• Practical, hands-on installation and commissioning skills.

• Good reading of drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specs.

• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and time-management capabilities.

• High level of attention to detail and quality workmanship.

• Customer service orientation with clear, professional communication.

• IT literacy for electronic job sheets, reporting, and digital certificates.

• Ability to work safely and efficiently under pressure; adaptable to changing priorities.

• Team player with the ability to work independently when required.

Desirable

• AM2 or other recognised practical assessment.

• Experience with commercial/domestic small works in varied environments.
