Healthcare Assistant – Radiology (Ipswich Hospital)
Salary: £12.84 per hour. Bank position, ad‑hoc hours, including weekends.
We’re looking for someone to support our colleagues and help deliver the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet deadlines and follow instructions.
* Provide face‑to‑face assistance to patients during radiology procedures (ultrasound, intervention).
* Offer support to radiologists during procedures.
* Maintain a good telephone manner and perform computer/database tasks.
* Carry out administrative duties.
* Put patient care first and meet the needs of every individual.
* Use organisational skills to make a positive impact.
Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 (preferred).
* Experience in an acute hospital or care setting (preferred).
* Good computer and database skills.
* Good telephone manner.
* Ability to work on a bank schedule without fixed hours.
