Responsibilities
1. Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts under IFRS
2. Preparation and review of financial statements under IFRS including liaison with auditors
3. Aiding in the preparation of VAT returns and submission of quarterly tax returns
4. Understanding the business and keeping up-to-speed with business developments and being able tomunicate this effectively to team members
5. Proactively seeking to identify improvements to manual processes and management reporting information leading to higher value-added work
6. Involvement in a broad range of department–wide projects and initiatives as well as cross-business initiatives
7. Preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory returns.
8. Balance sheet substantiation on a monthly basis.
9. Preparation of expense analysis both for Directors and Senior management
10. Preparation of the annual budget and half year budget reforecast.
Skills and experience
11. Accounting knowledge gained from either a previous accounting role
12. Preparation of audited financial statements under IFRS an advantage
13. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
14. Willing to work in a highly-driven team environment
15. Ability to work under pressure
16. Highly-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills
17. Proficient PC Skills (Word, Excel)
Strong interpersonal,munication and influencing skills with the confidence and ability to operate effectively at all levels including third parties
