We are currently expanding our operations and looking to recruit experienced Class 1 Tanker Drivers to join our team.
This position involves farm collections and the safe transportation of bulk milk in tankers to various customer sites across the UK.
We’re seeking dependable, professional drivers who take pride in their work and consistently maintain high driving and safety standards. While previous tanker experience is an advantage, it is not essential for applicants who are willing to learn.
Role Details
* Position: HGV Milk Tanker Driver
* Base: Carnforth
* Type: Full-time shift pattern
Working Pattern
* Night shifts: Start times between 16:00 – 20:00 (5 on / 3 off OR 4 on / 4 off)
Pay Structure
Night Work:
* Monday to Friday: £22.50 per hour
* Saturday: £25.50 per hour
* Sunday & Bank Holidays: £27.50 per hour
All hourly rates include holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities
* Collect milk from farms on planned routes
* Transporting bulk milk to designated customer sites
* Complying with all transport regulations including drivers’ hours and load security requirements
* Keeping in regular contact with the transport office
* Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and suppliers
* Flexibility to assist during peak demand periods
What We Need From You
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
* Up-to-date DCPC qualification
* Digital tachograph card
* Ability to work on your own initiative and manage time effectively
* Good communication skills and a professional approach
* Strong awareness of UK road network (preferred)
Milk or tanker experience is beneficial but not required, as full training can be provided.
