With over 20 years of successful operation, the company is known for its reliability, compliance, and quality service. ✅ Role Overview We are recruiting a Senior Accounts Administrator for a full-time, weekday-only schedule, with an immediate start. You will take ownership of the full accounting cycle—covering invoicing, payroll, reconciliations, credit control, and basic HR support—demonstrating excellent financial acumen, use of Sage 50, and a proactive attitude. Key Responsibilities Financial Duties * Issue and track sales invoices on time * Process purchase ledger entries * Perform daily bank reconciliations * Operate Sage 50 for accounts and payroll (essential) * Manage accounts payable/receivable, petty cash, and supplier payments * Handle payroll, expenses, VAT, NEST pensions, and PAYE * Monitor credit control to maintain positive cash flow and reduce debts * Provide daily banking updates and weekly financial summaries to the MD * Ensure accurate and compliant financial records Operations & HR Support * Assist in billing coordination with service teams * Maintain absence records and HR documentation * Provide administrative support to senior and operations staff * Take on additional tasks flexibly to support business needs Key Criteria Essential: * 5 years’ experience in accountancy or bookkeeping roles * Proficiency with Sage 50 or equivalent accounting/payroll software * Strong organisational and multitasking skills * Confident telephone manner and polished written/verbal communication Desirable: * AAT qualification or equivalent professional credential, although substantial experience may be considered * Direct experience of credit control or cash flow management Benefits * Competitive salary pension scheme * Casual dress code * Structured and supportive working environment * Rapid onboarding for early-start candidates * Clear role progression potential How to Apply Interested?
