Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire

Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum (Academic Grade 4 13) (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience)

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Lecturer in Psychology-The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experiencedLecturer in Psychologyto join our vibrant and growing team. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong academic background in Psychology. You will deliver engaging lessons across a variety of Psychology courses, ranging from introductory to advanced levels, and have the opportunity to shape the future of our students. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing students with an excellent learning experience, fostering a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement.

Lecturer in Psychology-Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality, engaging, and inclusive teaching across a range of Psychology modules.
* Provide academic support and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience.
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Psychology curriculum and teaching materials.
* Participate in the design, development, and assessment of courses.
* Supervise and mentor students in their academic projects and dissertations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field of Psychology and integrate current research into your teaching.
* Engage in research and scholarly activities, contributing to the academic profile of the department.

Lecturer in Psychology-You:
We are looking for a candidate with:

* APhDormasters degree in psychologyor a closely related field (or working towards one).
* A track record of teaching experience in higher education, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* An enthusiasm for developing and delivering innovative teaching methods.
* A passion for Psychology and the ability to make complex ideas accessible and exciting.
* A commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and student success.
