An opportunity has arisen to join the multidisciplinary team within the operating theatres of NHS Tayside. The successful applicant may be required to work at different locations within NHS Tayside, as needed.
You will play an important role in the patient’s journey, working within the operating theatres and assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) & Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) in the care and treatment of surgical patients. Healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
You will need to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland during your employment. More information on the Healthcare Support Worker Regulations can be found on NHS Tayside's Staffnet microsite.

Hours of work: Full time (37 hours) with day/night rotation and on-call if required by the clinical area.
